This exciting competition invites talented school and university students in Sri Lanka to showcase their creativity and statistical prowess.
Objectives of the Institute
- Promote and assist the advancement of Applied Statistics for research, development, education, training, and extension.
- Undertake and collaborate in the preparation, publication, and dissemination of information pertaining to Applied Statistics through seminars, lecture series, and the “Sri Lankan Journal of Applied Statistics.”
- Conduct research in Statistics to improve experimental techniques, statistical methods, and data analysis.
- Collaborate with governmental and non-governmental organizations, as well as national and international institutes, to promote research, development, education, training, and extension in statistics.
- Promote the professional interests of the members of the Institute.
